Growing up as a youngster in central Europe, DËHASSE’s musical inspirations derived from the early techno scene and listening to the likes of Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk. DËHASSE developed a passion for electronic music from an early age which helped him to define his career of today. Sooner or later, he would find himself in front of thousands dj-ing at some of the greatest festivals across the globe displaying his mastery of the form. This summer and most recently DËHASSE performed at the Global Dance Festival at the infamous Denver Red Rocks venue in Colorado, and Belgium’s House Clubbing and Tomorrowland Festival’s where at the later, 120,000 people attended. With a number of productions firmly under his belt, “In Da House”, “The Alchemist” (which reached number 12 in the influential Beatport top 100 chart), and the forthcoming single “Canadian Angel”, DËHASSE has plans for all three dance floor tunes to be included on his debut forthcoming artist album. Both tracks “The Alchemist” and “In Da House” have been supported by dance giant DJ Tiësto in his live shows and on his Dance For Life radio show, as well as Gareth Emery playing The Alchemist on his well-received and hugely popular podcast radio show. Canadian Angel has also been featured on the August edition of the UK’s DJ Magazine cover mount cd special edition which was mixed by the UK’s Eddie Haliwell. On production duty DËHASSE has also remixed the recent top ten hit for UK urban artists, Jodie Connor and Tinchy Stryder, “Bring It” and has just finished a remix of the UK top ten classic anthem of the day by E’voke “Arms of Loren”, which is set for release this Fall. In addition to this a number of major artist collaborations have been recorded and poised for release in the coming year. As an avid film and drama fan, it is here where DËHASSE developed his love for the big screen and theatrical showmanship. Driven and inspired by the abstract art and film of the likes of David Lynch, DËHASSE continues his tradition behind his own mask. The soundscapes that he creates may be a result of his history but DËHASSE is shaping the future.
