Dichotomy Engine is solo/side project of Drazen Djordjevic from Serbia. Influenced by the sound of many noise underground, electro bands and musicians like Wumpscut, Vangelis, Raison d'être, J.M. Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Stratvm Terror, Necrophorus etc. Drazen starts to experiment with this electro sound at the end of year 2007. The main idea is of Dichotomy Engine to explore dark electro sounds and all the possibilites to transpose the emotions through that kind of music. In the beginning it started like an experiment and hobby, so there were no plans for further work. But as time passed by the songs “The Antonia Graza” and “Out on This land” gained good reviews in the underground circles. So Drazen continues with work on new material. DE songs have this so called “movie soundtrack” sound because of combination that involves electro music, many sound effects and dialogs from movies. Also there is a slight sound of noise but in a subtile form, because songs keep some of that velvety shape.. Dichotomy Engine is always working and exploring many ways to records and play with different ideas, music and noises. Ponesen zvukom raznih noise industrial underground i electro bendova i majstora kao sto su Vangelis, J.M. Jarre, :wumpscut:, Kosheen, Fear Factory, raison d'être, Necrophorus, Atomine Elektrine i mnogih drugih Drazen pocinje sa stvaranjem ovakve muzike krajem 2007 god. Glavna ideja je istrazivanje dark electro/industrial/ambiental zvuka i mogucnosti prenosa emocija kroz takvu vrstu muzike.Posto je u pocetku bio zamisljen kao eksperiment nije planirano da Dichotomy Engine postane nesto vise od hobija. Ali dobijajuci vremenom dobre kritike Drazen nastavlja sa radom na novim pesmama. Dichotomy Engine pesme imaju takozvani "movie soundtrack" prizvuk zbog neobicne kombinacije elektro muzike, raznih zvucnih efekata i dijaloga (isecaka iz filmova). Prisutan je i dodatni zvuk noise-a i industriala ali u nekoj suptilnijoj formi posto pesme ipak zadrzavaju "pitkiji" oblik. Sto se tice zivih nastupa se mora spomenuti zapazen nastup u skc-ovom Living Room-u (BG). Dichotomy Engine je do sada izdao PROMO CD, split album sa Figurative Theatre, Tales of the Forgotten Ones EP i ucestvovao na raznim dark electro underground kompilacijama. Albumi Decoding the Quasar Signals i One's Silence su do sad pokupili odlicne recenzije...
