Ever since their debut appearance on the Festival Rydal in 2004 we have been waiting long and patiently for the FONTÄN debut fireworks. Now the wait is over, and the warm August summer night finds Swedes Jesper Jarold and Johan Melin firing off their extraordinary longplayer unto the world. Featuring the vocals of one of Sweden's strongest new generation singer songwriters, El Perro Del Mar. Their music is hard to pidgeon hole. Having played together in different constellations during the Nineties not only did we know that he was a very special person with the biggest of hearts, we knew he was a sequencer acrobat and a true breakbeat wiz-kid. But we did not really know what he was capable of until he hooked up with… …Jesper Jarold, of whom we at first knew very little except that he had been involved with some of the finest bands in Gothenburg throughout the years. Yet it did not take long to realize the creative master-mind of his. Jesper is a brilliantly innovative guitarist as well as a fantastic multi-instrumentalist and composer.
