Bio... Having been born in the 80s, Lee had to rely on his Dad's extensive collection of early funk, soul and disco for decent musical inspiration. The likes of Stevie Wonder, Bootsy Collins and Prince have a lot to answer for regarding Lee's early infatuation with funk-ladden house grooves. Introduced to production via the lethal combination of the Commodore Amiga and the legendary OctaMED tracker, Lee was just 13 when he was laying down tunes. But it was DJ-ing that first truly enticed him into the pleasures of aural entertainment. 12 years down the line Lee has established himself as firm resident at Slide - Oxford's longest running and best loved house night - sharing the decks once a month with the likes of fellow scouser Yousef, plus Paul Woolford, Layo & Bushwacka, Tom Middleton, Freeform Five, Ashley Beedle, Hybrid, Lottie, Sancho Panza and many more. Sleazy, fidgety house with a tech-funk edge is Lee's preferred weapon of choice to get the crowds moving and it is in this style that he is causing waves with on the production side of things. Having moved on from the primitive software of years gone by and gaining himself a hearty qualification in Sound Engineering, big things are a-foot for the newcomer. This claim is of course backed-up by none other than Derrick Carter, Jesse Rose, James Zabiela, Nic Fanciulli, The Trophy Twins, Justin Long, DJ Heather, Mark Farina, Bushwacka, Switch and more, all championing Lees sound. With releases on Front Room, .dotbleep, Carioca and Greenhouse, remixes on Leftroom Limited, Grandpetrol, Control, Fear Of Flying and Flat Pack Traxx plus some rather cheeky bootlegs and further DJ-ing around the Europe and the US, Lee's certainly on the way up. So much so that he is currently concentrating his efforts into a brand new label called Wearhouse Music to showcase his ever-growing catalogue of tunes.
