The Sanskrit term sādhu ("sadhoo") refer to the renouncer choosing to live life on the edges of society, in order to focus on his own spiritual practice. DJ Sadhu's deep understanding of music and it's effects on the human mind, body, and spirit, has turned him to pursuing the spiritual path of House Music. Inspired by the sounds of Sasha & Digweed, Sadhu dug deeper into his native New York Roots, finding musical parallels with the likes of Danny Tenaglia and Erick Morillo. Deep, Dark, Tribal, Tech and Progressive Soul, laced together with energy that captures you whole. "My motivation comes from seeing people tapping their feet, bopping their heads, letting go and losing themselves in the music. Track after track, finding their bodies uncontrollably gyrating to the beat, un-resistablly stomping their feet, feeling a wave of spiritual energy and coming together as one, in LOVE!" With over 12 years behind the decks, Sadhu has shared his musical energy in some of NYC's most legendary night clubs, including Webster Hall, the Limelight, Roxy, Crobar and many more. His music has also landed him in exotic location like St. Marteen, Puerto Rico and Barbados. With an ever deepening musical relationship with his fans, Sadhu is creating a staple in the underground music scene internationally.
