Slideshow Freak is the music moniker of Englishman Jamie Wright. Championed by DJ's such as Mark Whitby, Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq and featured on countless podcasts, Indie compilations and Blogs since the recording of his debut: Control Is Key. Slideshow Freak draws on a myriad of influences and styles and because of this does not tend to create any one style of music and is somewhat hard to define by a specific genre. Wright has recorded three full length albums under the Slideshow Freak Moniker (well, one was first released under the name "The Roy Jesus Experience) and Two mini albums as well as releasing a demo's album and is currently working on new songs for the upcoming release; You Are A Monster But So Am I. All Albums are soon to be released on Unwashed Territories starting with Religiously Inept (Which includes a previously unreleased track) all albums are currently being reworked and remixed. 7 songs vol 1 & 2 will be released as one album and The final release will be the new album "You Are A Monster But So Am I". Wright is of the belief that socialism is the only future humankind should work towards as everyone should be equal, he is an atheist and despairs of peoples continued belief in religions of all kinds (or more precisely the problems these religions tend to create) and hates racism and homophobia and all such idiotic behavior!
