JOACHIM GARRAUD
Né à Nantes le 27 septembre 1968.
Après avoir étudié sept ans le piano et les percussions au Conservatoire, il décide de se tourner vers la musique électronique.
Aux côtés de laurent Garnier, il commence en tant que DJ au Boy, le premier club parisien à faire découvrir aux Français le phénomène techno. Il se lance alors avec succès dans l'écriture et la production musicale au sein de la radio Maxximum, première radio nationale 100% dance (groupe CLT).
Pionnier du numérique, il crée avec Jean-Charles Carré, son studio d'enregistrement dans le centre de Paris ce qui lui permet de remixer, composer ou produire des artistes tels que David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre, Paul Johnson, Deep Dish, David Bowie, OMD, Kylie Minogue, Mylène Farmer, Cassius, Ceronne, Moby, Robbie Rivera... et bien d'autres encore.
Joachim développe un nouveau concept mélant Deejaying et improvisation musicale, un véritable concert, une performance live unique qui lui donne rapidement l'occasion de se produire aux quatre coins du Monde.
Il regroupe autour de lui une véritable communauté dont le signe de ralliement est un Space Invader.

1991 > Première Rave à Moscou, la Youri Gagarine Party regroupe 300.000 personnes.
1993 à 1997 > Festival Techno Manchester, Berlin. DJ au QUEEN (Paris).
1999 > DJ devant 2,4 milliards de téléspectateurs le 31 décembre en direct des pyramides du CAIRE. Et production du son du spectacle et de l’album de Jean- Michel Jarre "Metamorphoses".
2000 > Création du label GUMPROD en association avec David Guetta et Jean-Charles Carré
2001 > Co-écriture et co-production de l'album de David Guetta "Just a little more love" 200.000 exemplaires vendus sur la France.
Et du single "Love, don't let me go" N°1 des clubs pendant 12 semaines avec 500.000 disques vendus en France
2003 > Remixes pour Kylie Minogue, OMD, Cassius, Cerrone et production de l'album de Geyster (i love 1984), du single "Money" de David Guetta et de l'album Guetta Blaster 2004.
2004 > Sortie du film "People" avec plus d’1h de musique co-composée et produite par Joachim Garraud.
Production de AERO le premier album mixé en 5/1 signé Jean-Michel Jarre.
Sortie de The World is Mine : Joachim Garraud co-écrit et produit ce titre avec David Guetta.
Début de la collaboration avec Pioneer Japon pour le développement de nouvelles machines.
2005 > Création avec David Guetta du label F*** me i'm Famous records.
Remix du single de Mylène Farmer "Fuck them All". DJ Tour en Chine, 10 jours de Tournée DJ en Chine et Japon.
Sortie du titre "Summer Moon", en collaboration avec Tim Deluxe, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta.
Remix pour Moby, Robbie Rivera, Culture Club, Cerrone, Eurythmics.
Double disque d'or en France pour l'album David Guetta Blaster, dont la vente dépasse les 200 000 exemplaires.
2006 > Joachim Garraud et David Guetta sont nominés pour les Grammy Awards du meilleur remix de l'année.
Les 2 podcasts Zemixx et Live Videos de Joachim Garraud sont classés 1er et 2è du Podcast Chart de iTunes Music Store France.
Seul DJ Francais a jouer à la Love Parade à Berlin devant plus d'un million de personnes.
2007 > Joachim est parrain de la Technoparade à Paris qui bat un record d'affluence. Seul DJ ayant son propre char lui permettant d'inviter Oliver Huntemann, Laidback Luke, Benni Benassi, Dj Sender et David Guetta.

> Premier Album Solo "Invasion" avec le lancement d'une plateforme de vente exclusive avec MPO.

Born in Nantes on September 27th, 1968
After having perfectionned his piano and percussions for seven years at the conservatory, he decided to move toward electronic music.
long with Laurent Garnier, he started as a DJ as the Boy, the Parisian club that first initiated the discovery of the techno phenomenon in France. He then successfully tried some music production with Maxximum radio station, number one national 100% dance radio station (CTL group).
Becoming the pioneer of numerical music, he created with Jean-Charles Carré his own recording studio in the middle of Paris, which allowed him to remix, compose or produce artists such as David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre, Paul Johnson, Deep Dish, David Bowie, OMD, Kylie Minogue, Mylène Farmer, Cassius, Ceronne, Moby, Robbie Rivera... and many more.
Joachim developed a new concept, blending Deejaying and musical improvisation, thus giving a true concert, a unique live performance which soon gave him the opportunity to perform all over the World.
oday, he is surrounded by a big community with the Space Invader mascot.

2000 > Creation of the GUMPROD label, in association with David Guetta and Jean-Charles Carré.
2001 > Co-writer and co-producer of David Guetta's album, "Just a little more love": 200.000 copies sold in France, and also of the single "Love don't let me go", #1 of the top club tracks during 12 weeks, with 500.000 discs sold in France for that single.

2007 > Joachim was the main host of the Technoparade in Paris, which broke the record of attendance.
