___bio Born in Eskisehir, Turkey in 1980, Kaan met music at a very early age by taking piano and guitar lessons. Playing guitar and singing with his high school rock band was his first step to performing. At 14, while he was hosting his own rock radio show, he realized that his interests were starting to lean towards electronic music and djing. Abandoning his rock band, he started djing in high school parties. With the advancement of the personal computer, he started gathering all the information he could reach and started playing around with various virtual studios. He furthered his abilities in all the technical and musical aspects of the modern studio. The turning point came in 2003 when he started working for Istanbul's electronic music radio station, Dinamo 103.8 (www.dinamo.fm). A year after, first release "Organic Intellectual" released on October 2004 on Only Records, and hit 20 on Balance Chart. It was played by John Digweed on his Kiss FM show in June 2004, and gained support by many more. Between the years 2004-2006, he hosted "Together" parties at Club Crystal every Thursdays with Fuchs, Agentorange, Subsky, Muzo B, Barish Turker, Yunus Guvenen. He shared the booth with DJs such as Francois K, Radio Slave, Locodice, Martin Buttrich, Phonique, Lindstrom, Simon Harrison, Tangun, Cure-Shot, Alex Gopher, Justus Kohncke, Justin Martin, Scsi-9's Anton Kubikov, Ascii Disco. He is now producing music under the name "Shrimpy" and making his radio shows "Kompozit" and "Snooze Groove" on Dinamo 103.8 and he is the production manager of the station. He hosts 34BPM Show on Proton Radio (www.protonradio.com) with Fuchs, Subsky, Yunus Guvenen, Barish Turker and Muzo B on a monthly basis.
