There are several artists called Violett:
1. Violeta Torres aka Violett has developed her music taste since very young. Classic Music was the ambient music at home (classic Jazz, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, New Order, Joy Division, among others). At the age of 17, she started to know and to get on techno sounds at the local underground Buenos Aires scene. What naturally delivered her on an invitation to get onto the desks. Violett started playing at underground parties, clubs and outdoors events, always maintaining a particularly sensitive artistic conception. During 2005 he made her firsts steps with productions and nowadays signed with Telegraph, Unfoundsound, Einmaleins, Lo Mid High and compilations with Harry Klein Networks, Lessizmore and Igloo Records.
With a particularly music style mixing techno, house and Techno Detroit, deep and Old-School Violett is a reference icon at the Latin American scene, and also partricipating more than one time at the prestige Mutek festival. She is also consolidating day by day in Europe, after 4 tours that take her playing in France, Austria, Holland, Switzerland, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Germany.
Recently she started her own radio project, airing directly from Cocoliche Buenos Aires, where she presents every tuesday from 5 PM on (UTC-3) MARTES VIOLETA - Violeta's tuesday, a two-hour radio show. Dedicated to total anti-structure, she presents unpretentious infos, music, a little bit of unreleases, focusing on her like of / passion for a deeper sound, which doesn't necessarly have to contain beats.

Released his first solo recording with Violett Kassett (50 tape copies) in 1993 with nine tracks on it of which some should later transform a little and become hits with Blipp!.
His later contributions is limited to a few songs, publicly most available the song
Nothing Is True that he wrote while living in
chicago in
1998 and released online at mp3.com.
Returning to Sweden he took up his place in Blipp! again, making them release a new record every 8 years or so.
