Founded in rock, industrial and DNB the sound ranges from heavy and abrasive to deep and compelling. Driving bass, intricate drum work and epic builds are Your Dirty HabiT. Emerging in late 2007 when Eric Erwin and Dave Galloway came together to remix, "Capital G" by Nine Inch Nails, Your Dirty HabiT quickly gained recognition on a National level when popular blogger Preston Craig discovered their first original "Epic" stating,"All of YDH’s mixes are impeccable dance floor material" on his popular blog KISSATLANTA. The duo gained international exposure with their remix of High Eight's 2004 breaks anthem "Thru Time" on Re:Connect (UK), which was also featured on Reid Speed's mix "Under the Influence." Finding promise in the duo Reid tapped them for remix duties for "No Tomorrow" on her new label, Play Me (LA). Just weeks later one of America's largest electronic music labels, System Recordings (NY), have now reached out for an E.P. which will be released in November 2009. Your Dirty Habit shows versatility in their ability to defy the limits of genres from their rock driven original material to remixes for artists such as NIN, Rockwell, Katie Perry, Ocelot, and most recently Universal recording artist Owl City. Along with the duo's extensive studio results they deliver DJ sets that continue to impress promoters across the country. The theme is constant with popular weekly dance parties such as, Neon Ligre (Gainsville) and KGTD (B'HAM) quoted saying, "You guys are the best headliners we've ever had!" Your Dirty Habit has much in store for the future with their debut album dropping in 2010. The album will be a testimate to YDH's desire to overcome the mundane and exhibit true musical range. The L.P. single "Devil Hides Her Smile" is already receiving great reviews and gaining much demand on the remix front. Upon the release of their album the next step is to live performance featuring sultry vocals and the driving sounds familiar to the habit.
